The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev became the leaders of the rating of confidence among the heads of the CIS countries

The popularity of Lukashenko and Nazarbayev is confirmed by the data of the survey held by the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion (VTsIOM).

"The leaders of the rating of confidence among the heads of the states, in the opinion of the Russians, are the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko (41 %) and the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev (33 %). The third popular president is the Ukrainian leader Viktor Yanukovych, who lagged behind being supported only by 10% of the respondents," the survey stated.

Also, according to the data of the survey, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev evokes confidence of 5% of the respondents. The Heads of Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Georgia, and the Republic of Moldova evoke confidence only among a small part of the respondents (from 1% to 3 %).

Poll was held on November 16-17, 2013. 1,600 people were questioned in 130 settlements of Russia. The statistical error is not more than 3.4 %.
