80 thousand people obtained Russian passports in the Crimea
The press-service of the Federal Immigration Service (FMS) of Russia reports that almost 80 thousand Crimeans have received Russian passports as of today, while more than 145 thousand documents are being processed at the moment.
16 people refused from obtaining the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation.
As noted by the FMS of Russia, volunteers of the public organization Russia is Our Home began working together with the employees of migration authority in the territory of the peninsula. Specially trained volunteers "perform initial reception of the Crimeans during processing of passports of the Russian citizens".
