Discounts will be provided for six million tourists in the Crimea
On April 4 the minister of tourism of the Crimean Republic Elena Yurchenko reported that the peninsula was ready to welcome around 6 million tourists, who will be entitled to discounts of 10-25 percent for hotel accommodation.
According to Kriminform, the minister said that the tourist season in the peninsula begins on May 1.
"We are waiting for the Russians. For the first time in many years the residents of the region have a unique opportunity of resting in "domestic" Crimea," said Yurchenko.
As reported earlier, the Russian government decided to increase the number of flights to the Crimean Republic and Sevastopol and lower the airfare by subsidizing air transportation from the federal budget.
