This year Crimean graduates will get Russian certificates
During the meeting on the issues of social and economic development of the republic on March 31 in Simferopol the chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev reported that around 19 thousand graduates of 2013/2014 academic year will receive Russian standard certificates in the Crimea.
Young Crimeans will take graduation examinations corresponding to the program, according to which they have been studying. Those graduates, who expressed the desire to take unified state exam (there are not less than 2 thousand of them in the Crimea), will be able to take it in specially equipped centers in large cities of the peninsula - Simferopol, Sevastopol, Kerch and Feodosia. "The others will have an opportunity to enter any higher education institutions on the basis of the entrance examinations, the list of which is defined by the institution itself," noted Dmitry Medvedev.
The head of the Russian government has emphasized that from 2015 till 2106 academic year all the entrance procedures will be held on the basis of unified state examination according to the requirements, which exist in the Russian Federation.
He has also noted that from September 1, 2014 more than 200 thousand Crimean school kids will start studying by the programs based on the Russian federal educational standards. "Necessary quantity of the Russian textbooks will be supplied to the schools for that, while the teachers will be able to go through re-training during the summer time," said Dmitry Medvedev.
