Crimean Days will be held in several Russian cities
The press-service of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the region has reported that Crimean Days will be held in several Russian cities in April. The events will take place in Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Kazan, where the representatives of the tourism industry of the peninsula will participate in profile exhibitions and presentations.
The Crimeans will present the resort and sanatorium potential of the republic, participate in TV and radio broadcasts of the local mass media, press conferences, briefings and conduct various tourism educational seminars.
Since 2011 Crimean Days have been regularly held in different cities of the countries of the CIS and Europe for attracting attention of potential investors, tour operators and tourists to the peninsula.
As the head of Federal Tourism Agency Alexander Radkov has noted, it is necessary to subsidize the prices for air tickets to the Crimea and organize new flights to the peninsula from the Russian cities with more than 1 million residents.
Earlier representatives of the Russian state companies came up with initiative of supporting tourism in the peninsula and sending their employees for summer vacations to the Crimea.
On March 21 the Crimean Republic was transformed in the Crimean federal district of the Russian Federation by the corresponding decree signed by the president of Russia Vladimir Putin. Oleg Bulavintsev was nominated as authorized representative of the head of the state in the Crimea. Earlier Vladimir Putin signed a law on ratification of the agreement on accession of the Crimea and Sevastopol to Russia and federal constitutional law on the procedure of their accession to Russian and transitional period of integration of the new entities of the Federation. More than 96 percent of the voters voted for accession of the Crimea to the Russian Federation during the all-Crimean referendum.
