Residents of the Crimea and Sevastopol will get Russian codes of fixed telephony
According to the press service of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, it has prepared a draft order, in accordance with which inhabitants of the Crimea and Sevastopol will get Russian codes of fixed telephony.
According to the document, on the territory of the Republic of the Crimea the international code 365 and 869 for Sevastopol will be used in networks of the fixed telephony.
"As a result, operators will be able to assign subscribers new telephone numbers, which will be convenient for residents of these entities, as in the part, which is interesting to the subscriber (the last seven digits), they will differ from existing at the moment phone numbers only by one digit. Thus, the transition will be comfortable for them," the deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Communications of Russia Dmitry Alkhazov noted.
Main traffic indexes of the telegraph network of the Republic of the Crimea and Sevastopol will also be determined.
