It is prohibited to wear masks in Dnepropetrovsk
The press-service of the regional administration informs that law enforcement authorities of Dnepropetrovsk and the region will detain people with masked faces and "objects, which are designed to cause bodily injury." People with masked faces will be taken to the police station in order to identify the person and to check involvement in violent actions.
According to the deputy governor of Dnepropetrovsk region Svyatoslav Oliynyk, such measures are connected with the increased protection of public order. It is reported that this initiative was welcomed by representatives of both right and left forces.
The deputy governor called on all political forces and all citizens to express their opinion in a civilized way and not to yield to provocations. Herewith, he promised to rigidly suppress all manifestations of aggression.
