Tymoshenko issue will not be resolved before the summit in Vilnius
According to the leader of the Party of Regions faction Alexander Efremov, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine does not have time to consider and make a decision on the issue of treatment abroad of the former prime-minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko before the summit in Vilnius.
"If we go by the rules of procedure, we do not have enough time. Although we could make it, if we consider it next week and then vote it in the second reading according to a shortened procedure," said Efremov.
It is also possible that the issue of Yulia Tymoshenko will be considered directly in the hall. However, this can only happen in 30 days: if a bill has not been considered during a month, the deputy who submitted it can insist on its consideration directly in the assembly hall.
"This will be correct according to the law. However, a second question arises here: what to do then? If the committee does not consider the issue, then we lack corresponding votes … A bill, which, for example, we will not vote for, is deliberately submitted. And then it will be said that ... you don't want to go to Europe. That is slyness," said Efremov.
The consideration of the issue of Tymoshenko treatment abroad was moved to the next plenary week, which was scheduled for October 4-10.
