This summer, Lomachenko will get second chance to fight for the title
Ukrainian boxer will once again face the fight for the WBO championship belt, said the president of the World Boxing Organisation Francisco Valcárcel.
He had already talked to Bob Arum, promoter of the Ukrainian, twice-Olympic champion. Last weekend Vasyli Lomachenko lost to Mexican Orlando Solido. Ukrainian rival, despite the victory, remains without championship belt. The fight was in the weight up to 57 kg, while Solido weighed almost 10 kg more. As a result, WBO champion title remains vacant, and is likely to be contested by Lomachenko in early summer. The likely rival of the Ukrainian is yet unknown.
