"We exchange opinions with the EU and with other interested countries, including about Ukraine as well at various platforms," the minister said. "There are no changes in the sphere of Japan and Russian plans at this stage."
The Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during these hearings reported that representatives of Tokyo may take part in the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games in Sochi.
"We are studying the issue of presence of representatives of government of Japan there," he said. "There are various international trends, but our fundamental position is that we should be careful with infusion of policy into the Olympic and Paralympic movement."
