The Head of the standing commission of the Council of Russia on human rights abroad Yurov arrives in the Crimea
On February 27 the chairman of the standing commission of the presidential Council of the Russian Federation on human rights abroad Andrey Yurov will arrive in the Crimea.
"I'm going to fly to Ukraine today. Ukrainian civil advocates asked me to be in the Crimea. I am flying to Simferopol," Yurov said and added that Human Rights Council and journalist Maksim Shevchenko should arrive in the Crimea right after him.
The Russian Human Rights Council will proceed to monitor the situation in Ukraine. A temporary working group, which will work for 2-3 months, is created for this purpose.
