The Prime Minister of the Crimea is not going to leave his post
Today, on February 25 the chair of the Council of Ministers of the Crimea Anatoliy Mogilev during the press conference told that he was not going to leave his post.
"I categorically do not agree with the fact that, as they say, Mogilev should leave. I feel personal responsibility for all people who live in the Crimea. They say about those, who resigned "proudly". The ship was holed; the captain took the only boat, saluted, wiped away a tear and left the ship! I do not want to be such a captain," the head of the Crimean government told.
Anatoliy Mogilev also called on the residents of the Crimea to refrain from any radical utterances and actions. "I want to call on all the inhabitants of the Crimea to abstain from any sharp statements and severe actions, because this may lead to the terrible tragedy. I have repeatedly said that the worst tragedy is the loss of life. This is unacceptable. And the change of power is not a tragedy. Therefore we need to work calmly and wholeheartedly. We need to think about the way we will interact with the central authority."
According to the Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea (ARK), the Chair of the Council of Ministers of the ARK is appointed and dismissed by Verkhovna Rada of the Crimea upon the recommendation of the head of the Crimean parliament and subject to agreement with the President of Ukraine.
