In Kerch protesters disrupted Ukrainian flag and hung the Russian one
On the building of the Kerch Executive Committee, protesters hung next to the Crimean flag the Russian one.
200 people, the adherents of the «Russian unity» party, gathered near the building of the Executive Committee of Kerch. Protesters unfurled banners saying «Bercut - heroes!», «Crimea – for peace», «No to Maidan!» and such and started shouting «Kerch, Crimea! We want to Russia!». Mayor Oleg Osadchiy tried to calm the noisy crowd, but that was impossible.
Activists came close to the flagpole, intending to drag out the flag of Ukraine and hang instead the Russian flag. The police, the mayor and some people tried to prevent the establishment of the Russian flag. The flagpole was under confrontation, the flag of Ukraine was risen, then fallen. As a result, the Ukrainian flag was torn off the flagpole. On one flagpole near the flag of Crimea protesters managed to set the Russian flag.
The riot was organized by Victor Sazhenov, leader of the party «Russian unity».
