Rowling's new detective novel under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith
New story "Silkworm" by Joanne Rowling will be released in June 24, 2014. Author will issue it under the nickname of Robert Galbraith.
The novel "Silkworm" is the third book for adults of famous author. The new novel is a continuation of the previous "the Call of the cuckoo", which the author released under the pseudonym of Robert Galbraith. Describing the plot of "the Call", Rowling decided to change nor the name of the main characters, neither her nickname.
In the novel "Silkworm", detective Cormoran Strike and his assistant Robin Ellacott are going to investigate the mysterious death of Owen Quinn, the writer. Quinn lost on the eve of the publication of his new work, the plot of which included compromising information relating to real people. Which-of-them-could-be-a-murderer question wouldn’t stop the hero from the investigation.
The book “The Call of the cuckoo” released before "Silkworm" tells about the Strike’s investigation the murder of supermodel.
According to the world-famous writer. Rowling says of Strike: “The main hero of the novel is the illegitimate son of a famous rock musician. Strike gives me the opportunity to write in an objective manner about the strangeness of that person experiences, becoming a celebrity”.
The first book of the social novel “Casual vacancy” for adult audience appeared in 2012. Rowling released it under her own name.
The newspaper, which were not notified about who the real author of the book was, published favourable reviews, noting that «the man author» is very sensitive to women's issues.
