Forbes: Merkel is the most powerful woman in the world
German Chancellor Angela Merkel was the most powerful woman in 2013, according to Forbes.
The rating is compiled ignoring the profession of candidates.
The ten most influential women include actress Angelina Jolie, the head of the Federal Reserve Janet Yellen, the wife of Prince William Kate Middleton, CEO of General Motors Mary Bara.
The top-ten list also includes the singer Ruslana, the chair of Russia’s Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina, “RIA Novosti” Editor-in-Chief Svetlana Myronyuk and People's Deputy Elena Mizulina.
