Arbuzov requests 24/7 duty for municipal services and rescuers on snow-capped roads
First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Arbuzov instructed municipal services and rescue teams of the State Emergency Service for 24/7 duty at the snow-covered Ukrainian roads, reports the press office of the first vice-premier.
Arbuzov also requested to speed up the work on restoring electricity supply to settlements of Ukraine.
"To ensure timely delivery of the required number of snow-clearing and other special equipment, around-the-clock duty for municipal services and rescuers on roads with traffic jams. To create the required number of heating shelters for drivers and passengers who are trapped in the snow,” says the order issued by Arbuzov to a number of bodies and to Governors of the regions affected by the disaster.
