Afghan war veterans and the Right Sector made an agreement with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine
According to the UNIAN news agency with the reference to the statement of the representative of Afghan war veterans Oleg Mikhnyk, made at the briefing in the Ukrainian House in Kiev, on Friday, after the law about amnesty was adopted, Afghan war veterans and the Right Sector made an agreement with the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Alexandr Yakimenko and with the first deputy minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Victor Dubovik about the release of the detained activists.
Mikhnyk has noted that as of today 112 detained activists have already been released. According to him, Afghan war veterans and the Right Sector expect that 116 more detained activists will be released on Friday, February 7, after which they promise to unblock Kiev City State Administration and Hrushevskogo Street.
The radical union the Right Sector and Afghan war veterans stated that they wish to become a third party in another round of negotiations between the authorities and the opposition to resolve the socio-political crisis in Ukraine, which was not yet settled.
