Yanukovych signed the adopted on January 16 laws

President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych signed the laws adopted in the country’s parliament on January 16.

As the press service of the President informs, the President signed the law on the 2014 state budget, as well as the laws "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the Judicial System and Status of Judges” and procedural laws on additional measures to protect the safety of citizens”; “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the responsibility for administrative offenses during football matches”; “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on administrative responsibility for offenses in the field of road safety, recorded in the automatic mode”.

Also the President signed the Laws “On Amendments to the Regulations for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine”, “On Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine on criminal proceedings in absentia”, “On Amending the Law of Ukraine “On free legal aid” regarding postponing the entry into force of the provisions of paragraph 6 Section VI “Final and Transitional Provisions”, “On Amending Article 197 of the Tax Code of Ukraine on the exemption from value added tax of the natural gas import operations into the customs territory of Ukraine”, “On Amending Article 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on Liability for the desecration or destruction of monuments built in memory of those who fought against Nazism during the Second World War - the Soviet soldiers, members of the partisan movement, the Resistance, the victims of Nazi persecution, as well as soldiers-internationalists and peacekeepers”, “On Amending Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding the responsibility for denial or justification of the crimes of fascism”, “On Amending the Law of Ukraine “On elimination of the negative effects and prevention of prosecution and punishment for the events that took place during the peaceful rallies”.
