The Court restricts Vlasenko movements for 2 more months
Pechersk District Court of Kiev extended for two months the preventive measure against Sergey Vlasenko, defense lawyer of Yulia Timoshenko, that was imposed by the court on November 12, 2013.
There is also a requirement to provide cash collateral in the amount of 20 minimum wages, which amounts to 22,940 hryvnas, reported the “Batkivschyna” party.
Vlasenko also must report any changes of residence and work, avoid contact with his former wife, surrender the international passport and refrain from traveling outside of Kiev.
Because of today's court decision, Vlasenko will be unable to visit Brussels from 13 to 16 January, where he was invited by the leaders of the two political groups in the European Parliament for consultation on the case of Yulia Timoshenko.
Prosecutor General's Office is investigating the facts of bodily injuries of Natalia Okunskaya, Sergey Vlasenko wife, in the period from 2008 to 2012.
