The registration of the participants of External Independent Assessment has begun in Ukraine
The Ukrainian Center of Estimation of Quality of Education (UCEQE) informed that today on January 3, the registration for the participation in the External Independent Assessment (EIA) began in Ukraine.
"This year we are holding the experiment regarding opening of the bank of test tasks for the mass test in the Ukrainian language and literature. At the end of the registration we plan to place the material, which will contain the examples of all test tasks that are waiting for the applicants this year, on the web site of UCEQE, and on the web sites of all regional centers. They will be grouped according to the topics and according to complexity," the director of UCEQE Irina Zaitseva said.
The applicants may enter their personal data in the questionnaire till March 5 and may change the information till March 19. In 2014, according to preliminary estimates, more than 300,000 people will participate in the EIA. They are allowed to select not more than four subjects to comprise the EIA.
The tests may be taken in Ukrainian, Russian, Hungarian, Romanian, Moldavian, Polish and Crimean Tatar languages. EIA will start on June 3 with the test in the Ukrainian language and will finish on June 27 with the test in the world literature.
The EIA will cost the state 110 million UAH. Part of the funds is planned to be directed for conducting the experiment.
