The criminal case was opened for hooliganism near the hotel in Kiev
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed that the criminal case for hooliganism near the Premier Palace Hotel in the capital was opened in accordance with part 1 of the article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to the message of the department, a woman filed a statement with Shevchenko district police department. According to her information, unidentified people threw an object, which looked like a smoke box, into the building of one of the hotels in the center of the city.
The law enforcement officers went to the place of the incident, where they questioned the witnesses. One of employees of the hotel also filed a statement regarding hooligan actions of the participants of torch procession, which took place yesterday along the central streets of Kiev.
The information about hooliganism was enlisted into the General Register of pretrial investigations.
