Kharkov’s Turboatom may get a large order from the Russian corporation
Kharkov-based JSC Turboatom may get a multi-billion dollar order from the Russian Corporation Rosatom, announced the Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting. He has noted that Rosatom soon plans to hold a tender for supplying a full set of equipment for machine room of a new Kursk NPP-2 station, i.e. four power units of 1,250 MW each.
"Kharkov-based Turboatom is one of the main contenders for this order. The group of companies that can execute this multi-billion dollar contract includes the Ukrainian companies Energomashspetsstal, Novokramatorsky Illich’s Machine Works, Mariupol Illich’s metallurgical complex, DneproSpetsStal, MM-Energostroy and others," said the Prime Minister.
