The British Film Days begin in the middle of November in Ukraine
The British Film Days will take place in Ukraine for the 13th time. In the framework of the festival New British Cinema film demonstrations will be held in Kiev, Odessa, Lvov, Kharkov, Donets, Dnepropetrovsk, Ternopol, Vinnytsya, and Zaporozhye.
According to the British Council in Ukraine, which is the organizer of the cinema festival, the following films are included in the program: short films – contenders for the prizes of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), biographical film about princess Diana with Naomi Watts in the lead role, new film of Mark Winterbottom The King of Soho, the story of an affair of Franklin Roosevelt with his cousin Hyde Park on Hudson, Sightseers of Ben Wheatley, and The Selfish Giant of Clio Barnard, as well as the stage adaptation of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein, staged in the National Theater in London by the stage director Danny Boyle.
Frankenstein is one of the most famous British performances lately. This show is a part of theatrical project, which is aimed at demonstrating the performances of the National Theater in the cinemas all over the world.
