The IMF makes conditions for Ukraine again
The mission of the International Monetary Fund has offered the Ukrainian government to conduct reforms again, specifically, increase the flexibility of the exchange rate combined with the policy on strengthening the financial sector, increase the tariffs for the electricity, decrease the personnel and salaries in the budget sector, and delay the decrease of taxes. According to the IMF, these measures need to be undertaken in the nearest time.
The mission recommends limiting the wages fund and the number of employees in the budget sector, cutting the subsidies, and substantially and continuously raising the tariffs for gas and heating for the population. The IMF experts think that only 40 percent of the population has to be subsidized.
