More than a hundred people burned the flag of the EU in Simferopol
The protesters demanded President Viktor Yanukovych, the Parliament and the Government of the country to stop the rallies of the opposition forces in the capital of Ukraine.
On Monday the activists of the Russian Front of Sergey Shuvainikov and the Congress of the Russian Communities of the Crimea held a rally at the central square of Simferopol, during which they burned the flag of the European Union.
According to UNIAN news agency correspondent, the people, who gathered, demanded that President Viktor Yanukovych, the Parliament and the Government of the country put an end to the rallies of the opposition forces in the capital of Ukraine, calling on the European integration and the change of the government of the country.
The protesters were holding the flags of their organizations, the Crimea, Russia, St. Andrew, as well as icons and posters, foe example: "The Russians of the Crimea will never renounce mother-Russia!", "Banderovtsi, out of the government!", "Are the European Union, Bandera, Shukhevich your heroes?", "Dear diplomats, don't pry into other people's business".
The rally gathered more than 100 people.
"We demand to stop the political and legal chaos and disorder in Kiev and in some of the western regions of Ukraine, which are covered with the slogans of the European integration and appeals to overthrow the legitimate government," is stated in the plea of the protesters to the Head of the State, the Cabinet of Ministers and Verkhovna Rada.
The protesters burned the flag of the EU, and after that they proceeded to the building of the Supreme Council of the Crimea.
