The President of Lithuania foretold hard times for Ukraine
The president of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė forecasts hard times for Ukraine due to the decision of not signing the association agreement with the EU.
Grybauskaitė has explained her forecasts to German newspaper Zeit as follows: the competitive ability of the country will decrease, the democratization process will slow down, and the dependency on the Kremlin will grow.
The president of Lithuania thinks that now Ukraine will be overtaken by the fate of Belarus, which is practically completely dependent on Moscow.
She thinks that Ukrainian leadership, which has not withstood the pressure of Russia, bears responsibility for that.
