A system of compulsory medical insurance is planned to be implemented in the Crimea before the year ends
During the press-conference in Simferopol on April 9 the minister of health of the republic Petr Mikhalchevsky said that a system of compulsory medical insurance was planned to be implemented in the Crimea before January 1, 2015.
As the official emphasized the system would enable the patient to receive medical assistance free of charge, since the employer would be paying for those working, while payments for the unemployed would be made from the republican budget. "Medical insurance will not cost anything for an individual citizen," emphasized Petr Mikhalchevsky.
He has also added that Fund of Compulsory Medical Insurance will soon be created in the peninsula.
