Inventory of monuments was done in the Crimea
The press-service of the state council of the republic reports that inventory of monuments and memorial locations, connected with the Second World War of 1941-1945, has been completed in the Crimea.
Data of the monuments, including the data about the owners, asset holders and technical condition of the monuments, were refined during the inventory.
There are 864 historical monuments in the peninsula in total, 833 of which were recorded as assets in the books as a result of inventory, which has also resulted in obtaining the info that 32 monuments need urgent restoration.
The municipal authorities were commissioned with finishing repairs and restoration of monuments, memorial signs, mass and individual graves, connected with the events of the Second World War of 1941-1945, and adjacent territories before May 1, 2014.
