Imexbank suspends its operations in the Crimea
The press-service of Imexbank reports that the bank suspends operations of all of its departments in the Crimean Republic starting with April 8.
This decision was made by the board of the bank due to "absence of sufficient regulatory basis to govern the operations of the Ukrainian bank in the territory of the Crimea".
As noted in the message, the bank will make the inventory of clients' accounts (current, deposit, card), open in the territory of the Crimea, to subsequently transfer them to operating departments of Imexbank in Ukraine.
The representatives of the bank have noted that it intends to "fulfill all of its obligations before the depositors in accord with the Ukrainian laws".
It's worth reminding that earlier the Austrian bank Raiffaizen Bank International announced the closure of all its affiliates in the Crimea by the middle of April.
