Russian passports will be issued to the Crimean veterans in the first place
The chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Crimean Republic Sergey Aksenov said that invalids and veterans of the Second World War in the Crimea will receive the Russian passports in the first place and commissioned control of this issue to the local authorities.
As the head of the Crimean government emphasized the local authorities must tune interaction with the employees of the Federal Migration Service, who are working in the peninsula, to process all the necessary papers for the veterans as soon as possible.
5,171 residents of the Crimea are categorized as invalids and participants of the Second World War.
It's worth reminding that earlier the deputy head of the Federal Migration Service of Russia Sergey Kaliuzhny has stated that no state duty will be charged for execution of the Russian passport in the Crimea till January 1, 2015.
