The formalities with the Crimeans' pensions will be finished before December 1
The press-service of the Crimean Government with a reference to the head of the board of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation Anton Drozdov reports that the process of integration of the Crimean pension system to the Russian one is planned to be finished before December 1, 2014.
According to Drozdov, 200 specialists of the Russian pension authority are planned to be dispatched to the peninsula for assisting the republican pension fund with going through formalities for the pension affairs of the Crimeans.
Around 500 thousand pensioners reside in the Crimean Republic.
On March 24 the Crimean pensioners started receiving pensions, which were not transferred by the Ukrainian authorities. The pensions are paid in rubles.
Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin commissioned the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation to increase the pensions of the residents of the Crimea to the Russian level as soon as possible.
