Vladimir Putin signed a number of important documents regarding military men of the Crimea
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the order to recognize military ranks and diplomas of servicemen of Ukraine, who decided to serve in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
"It will allow to take people into service according to the contract before all the formalities are resolved, including acquisition of citizenship," the head of the state noted.
In his turn the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu, who addressed Vladimir Putin with this initiative, noted that the order is of vital importance, as there are many officers in the Crimea, who want to serve in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In addition the head of the Russian state signed an order about renovation of the work of the Higher Naval School named after Nakhimov in Sevastopol and about creation in the Crimea the Presidential Military School.
"We would like to sign an order about recovery of the Higher Naval College named after Nakhimov of the Order of the Red Banner," Sergey Shoigu specified, introducing the document the President of Russia. "Taking into consideration that it has a rich history and students from a number of states study there, we would like to restore the historic name without interrupting the educational process."
