Six Ukrainians to join second stage of the World Series diving
Tomorrow, March 20, Dubai (UAE) will host the second stage of the FINA World Series diving, which will feature six Ukrainian athletes, reported the press service of Ukraine’s National Olympic Committee.
On the competition, Ukraine will be represented by Ilya Kvasha, Alexander Gorshkovozov, Alexander Bondar, Yulia Prokopchuk, Anastasia Nedobiga and Alyona Fedorova.
On the first stage of the World Series in diving (in Beijing, on March 14-16), Ukrainian athletes won two bronze medals — Ilya Kvasha (springboard, 3m) and Alexander Gorshkovozov / Ilya Kvasha (springboard, synchro, 3m).
The FINA World Series international tournament is held since 2007. The competition includes the athletes who during the previous season reached the top eight in individual events, and the top six — in synchronized diving of the Olympic program.
