Armed clashes between the “Pravy Sector” and “Russian Spring” radicals in Kharkov (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
Currently Kharkov is the stage of armed conflict between the “Pravy Sector” and “Russian Spring” radicals. Initially, reports the correspondent of the “News Agency Kharkov”, a group of “Kharkov Militia” on duty at Liberty Square was approached by a blue minibus similar to the one used to fire at the activists on March 8 evening. After a verbal exchanges between its passengers and activists, members of “Kharkov Militia” started chasing after the vehicle on the Sumskaya street.
The group, which got larger during the pursuit, carried on down the Sumskaya St., but on reaching junction with Rymarskaya St. changed its mind and started assault on the office of Kharkov EuroMaidan. The group of people inside the office responded with firecrackers and Molotov cocktails. Eyewitnesses report hearing shots and stun grenades. There are many victims, according to some reports, there are dead, too. Rymarskaya Street blocked on both sides by the traffic police; only ambulances are allowed through.
Kharkov court banned mass rallies in support and against the Crimea referendum, planned in Kharkov for 15 and 16 March.
