A fence around Svoboda Square is being installed
Workers of public utilities began to install a fence around Svoboda Square in Kharkov. Representatives of Kharkov militia state that it is done to prevent holding the rallies of Russian Spring on March 15 and 16.
Previously the court prohibited conducting mass activities in the streets of Kharkov. The governor of the region Igor Baluta appealed to citizens with a request to refrain from rallies and warned about possible acts of terror.
In the meanwhile mass arrests of activists of Russian spring are held in Lugansk. Participants of the movement are summoned for interrogations on the fact of capture of the regional administration on March 9. Activists note that facts of capture of state institutions by participants of Euromaidan, judging from the policy of new authorities, apparently, are not considered to be a crime.
