More than 15 thousand people in Chelyabinsk come to the rally in support of the referendum in the Crimea. People were holding banners with slogans "We do not leave our friends" "We believe Putin," "Bandera followers will not do." According to organizers, the rally was attended by activists from Magnitogorsk, Zlatous, Verkhneuralsk, Kunashak and other towns of Southern Ural.
During the rally a resolution was adopted on Revolution Square, the sense of which was expression of distrust to leaders of Euromaidan, whose actions led to a split of authorities and of the population of Ukraine. "We declare that we will not stand aside, while these forces are doing their shady business. We will not allow that arbitrary rule of the group of irresponsible politicians will decide the fate of our brotherly people and millions of our compatriots. The crisis in Ukraine threatens with a civil war and a humanitarian catastrophe," the text of the resolution says.
Similar rallies were held in most of the major cities of Russia in recent days.
