Americans oppose US military intervention in Ukraine
Americans oppose US military intervention in Crimea situation. Only one of the eight respondents support sending US troops to Ukraine, says a survey commissioned by CNN.
At the same time, a large portion of US citizens (52%) also does not support the White House initiative to provide economic assistance to Ukraine. About 46% of US citizens approve the idea. The site of the TV channel also reported that nearly six out of ten Americans are against cancellation of G8 summit in Sochi. Less than half of Americans support Obama's actions to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, on March 11, US President Barak Obama called for a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis at the meeting with the heads of Kazakhstan, Spain and Cyprus.
