Putin discussed decision of the Crimean parliament with the Security Council
The operational meeting of the Council was attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, head of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin, informs press service of the Russian President.
Today, head of the Russian Federation held a briefing session with the permanent members of the Security Council. Session members discussed the situation in Ukraine, including with adjustment for the decision of the Supreme Council of Crimea on accession of the Autonomy to the Russian and conducting the Crimea-wide referendum on the status and powers of the Republic on March 16.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, Chairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Ivanov, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Mikhail Fradkov, permanent member of the Security Council Boris Gryzlov.
