The Agreement about deployment of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian federation in the Crimea stipulates stay of up to 25,000 military men
The representative of the Russian Federation in the UN Vitaliy Churkin at the session of the Security Council of UN stated that, according to the agreement about deployment of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the Crimea, the Russian military contingent on the territory of the autonomy may number up to 25,000 military men.
It was the response of Vitaliy Churkin to the claim of the representative of Ukraine in the UN Yuriy Sergeev about unauthorized increase of the number of Russian military men on the territory of Ukraine up to 16,000 people.
"We may concentrate the number of military men up to 25,0000. This is a part of our agreement about deployment," Vitaliy Churkin said.
