Crisis handling HQ led by Crimea Prosecutor Vyacheslav Pavlov
The HQ for handling the emergency created by seizure of administrative buildings in Simferopol are led by Crimea Prosecutor Vyacheslav Pavlov, reports the press service of the Prosecutor's Office in the Republic.
The prosecutor's office goes on to note that the HQ are established for coordination of actions between the police and authorities, as well as for prevention of riots in the city.
The HQ is based on the premises of the Crimean Police Administration; currently its experts are engaged in identifying the intruders and unlocking the buildings of the Crimean government and parliament.
The criminal offense has been included in the Unified Register of pre-trial investigations under Articles 341 and 258 of the Criminal Code (“Capture of the state or public buildings or structures, terrorist act”).
