Crimea head is sacked
Crimean Supreme Council decided to dismiss Anatoly Mogilev from the position of chair of the Council of Ministers of Crimea. Mogilev was the 17th chair of the Crimea’s CM.
The Council also approved a date for referendum, which will be held on May 25. For the same date Ukraine’s parliament scheduled early Presidential elections in the country.
Meanwhile, a rally at the walls of the Supreme Council continues, with up to 2,000 people — Afghan war veterans, Cossacks, veterans of special forces and ordinary Crimea residents — standing near the entrance holding flags and banners of the “Russian Bloc”.
