Kerry: Washington is ready to work with Moscow
At the conference on prevention of sexual violence in conflict zones State Secretary John Kerry declared that Washington is ready to work with Moscow on settlement of the situation in Ukraine.
At the conference on prevention of sexual violence in conflict zones John Kerry said: "This is not the West against the East. It should not happen. This is not about Russia or the United States. It is about the fact that Ukrainian people choose their future. And we want to work with Russia, with other countries, and with everyone to ensure peaceful developments as of today, because the terrible violence on Maidan shocked the entire world."
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain William Hague, who also attended the event, stated that the independent choice of Ukrainian people of their future corresponds the national interests of his country.
William Hague: "We support them in formation of the full-fledged government, which makes it possible to achieve political agreement, in changing the political culture, in which corruption became omnipresent, in holding free elections."
