Lenin monument demolished on the Crimea’s Southern coast
In the park of Privetnoye village (Alushta), vandals destroyed the statue of Lenin. Presumably, the incident happened on the night of 22 to 23 February.
Earlier, in the Zuya village of Belogorsky region and Orlovka village of Razdolnenskiy regions of Autonomy, unidentified assailants also destroyed the monuments to the leader of the world proletariat.
Also yesterday in Simferopol, there were two attempts to demolish the monument located on the central square of the Crimean capital.
Crimean Tatars called on Simferopol city authorities to demolish the Lenin monument in the 10-day period.
