Norwegians win second Olympic gold for the day
Jorgen Grobak won the Alpine combined competition. In the race based on Gundersen system he erased his 42 seconds lag.
In ski jumping the Norwegian was more than modest. Grobak took 6th place and started the 10-kilometer ski race with a delay of 42 seconds. On the track he was able to fight back, in parallel bringing to the finish line his team-mate, another Norwegian, Magnus Moan. Bronze went to the German, Fabian Rissle. Eric Frenzel, another representative of the German team, having won the ski jumping part, was only 10th to finish the ski race.
Ukrainian Viktor Pasichnik was 20th after jumping. In the race he lost another 10 positions.
