Kharkov police detains robbers with over 30 hits on record
Kharkov police detained thieves who committed over 30 burglaries — according to the Ministry of Interior in Kharkov region, the robbers were caught when trying to rob one of the city’s pawnshops.
“Men aged 28 to 34 years, two of them have already been in prison. One of the detainees was born in Kherson region, his two accomplices — in Kharkov. As a rule, the robbers went out at night. They were breaking into the selected premises and using simple tools tried to open the safe. If there was no money, they took food and alcohol,” says Denis Gorshenin, Deputy Head of Ordzhonikidze Police Department in Kharkov.
The criminals started their criminal activities criminals back in 2012. Now the detained are in temporary detention facility.
Investigators of Ordzhonikidze police Department opened criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Article 185 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Attackers could face up to six years in prison.
