Vote for the Constitution-2004 is scheduled next week
Opposition plans to organize a vote for the Constitution-2004 next week. This decision was agreed with former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko on February 12, said Aleksandr Turchynov, the first Deputy head of the «Batkivshchyna».
Another leader of the «Batkivshchyna» Arseniy Yatsenyuk supports the implementation of the vote procedure for the introduction of the former Constitutional system.
«We must take the vote to every MP of Ukraine who showed their political position concerning restoration of Constitutional order. This means that the next plenary week will be brought to the voting procedure for the Constitutional Act on the restoration of the Constitution of 2004», summed up Yatsenyuk at a briefing in Kyiv on February 13.
Yatsenyuk says that in the Parliament there are many MPs ready to vote for the Constitution-2004. So the next plenary week is expected to have meeting on the issue of legalization of the ex-Constitutional regime, proclaiming the parliamentary-presidential form of governance.
