Canada wins the fourth gold medal in Sochi
The victory of Dara Howell in slopestyle brings Canadians to the leaders of the medal rating of the Olympics.
The third day of the games in Sochi finished with the victory of Canada. The forth day also brought success to representatives of the country of the maple leaf. Dara Howell won gold in slopestyle. She took over leadership in the final already in the first attempt and did not let it go. Howell won gold even before her final round. The American Devin Logan received silver, and one more Canadian Kim Lamarre got bronze.
Not all the Canadians ended the competitions successfully. Yuki Tsubota was injured performing one of the jumps from the ski jump. The athlete fell on her back from a considerable height. The doctors took her away from the track on a stretcher.
