Gerega insists on urgent session of Kiev City Council: there are over 500 issues
Secretary of the Kiev City Council Galina Gerega notes the need for urgent meeting of the City Council.
According to our correspondent, Gerega shared this information on a briefing after an extended staff meeting regarding the heating season held in the Kiev City Administration.
“I believe that the session should be held right now. We need to sign the order and, according to our regulations, within 10 days hold a meeting of the presidium and make decisions,” said Gerega.
According to her, idling City Council means lesser incomes into the city budget. In particular, questions on the lease of land and property remain unsolved.
“We hope that we will soon get into the building (of Kiev City Administration), because we accumulated a lot of questions. More than 500 decrees are ready for approval. 86 decrees for “Kyivenergo” power company have not been approved. How can they work for the city if we do not approve the decrees,” said Gerega.
