The Ministry of Internal Affairs: masked men beat a Russian in the heart of Kiev
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), recently messages to the police about attacks in the heart of Kiev become more frequent.
According to the press-service of the police of the capital, during the past day they received several messages from citizens about their beating by unknown persons in the center of the capital.
In particular, at about 12:00 p.m. a 32-year-old resident of the Russian Federation addressed the police officers. He explained that on the eve he flew from Moscow to Kiev, met a friend here and they went together to the bar near the metro station Kreshchatyk.
According to the information of the police, at about 9:00 p.m. 6 unknown men, wearing camouflage uniform and masks, approached them. There was a conflict, as a result of which the claimant and his friend were beaten. The unknown robbed the victim. They took away two laptops, a cell phone, money in the amount of 12,000 UAH and documents.
After the incident the victims addressed the hospital. "The doctors diagnosed the resident of Russia injuries of the face and brain concussion, and his friend the closed craniocerebral injury, brain concussion, bruises and abrasions of the face," the message of the police of the capital states.
The press-service also noted that in the morning the call center of the police received a message on the emergency phone number 102 from the 32-year-old resident of Kiev about the fact that he was beaten with bats by unidentified persons on Maidan Nezalejnosti. In one of the hospitals of the city the man was diagnosed with closed injury of chest, bruises of chest, upper and lower limbs. He was rendered necessary assistance.
The circumstances of these events were registered by the investigative bodies, the criminal cases were opened.
