Masked people crushed two restaurants in Kiev at night
The police of Kiev opened criminal case on the facts of pogroms in two restaurants of Kiev at the night on February 6.
According to the press-service of the Main Directorate of Police of Kiev, a group of unidentified persons crushed two restaurants during one night in Kiev. The investigation is in process.
"According to the specified data of the police, on Thursday at about 3:00 a.m. the watchman of the restaurant, located in Tereshchenkovskaya Street reported that a group of approximately 50 people wearing masks and helmets broke the facade of the building of the institution and wrote on the windows the words "boycott" and "revolution" with orange paint," the police noted.
The criminal case was opened on this fact according to the article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The police also told that in several minutes one more report about the group attack of the restaurant arrived. This time, the malefactors, who, according to the police, acted according to the same scenario; they crushed the institution in Krasnoarmeyskaya Street.
"The watchman reported that the group of persons wearing black masks with shields and sticks broke the glass door, damaged the plaster statues near the entrance and wrote on the walls "glory to the nation", "for revolution", "boycott", the police stated.
The information about this incident is registered in the General Register of Pre-trial Investigations in accordance with the article 194 (intentional destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
